Bolt-on power

Hey power mongers out there I am running an 800HO in an '06 Summit and wondering if there is any point to Boysen or VForce 3 installation?
Is there really any bolt-on power that's worth it?

P.S. Everthing is stock except an SLP can.

Re: Bolt-on power

The V-force3's made my sled a lot more responsive and snappy.

Re: Bolt-on power

DIDO on the v-force, but you may have to trim a little to clear the carb bowls.
DJ clutch kit. You've got a great clutch no need to waste money on replacing it. Just needs a little tweaking.

No power gain but a can shedds alot of weight.

Sorry just re read, you got a can!!!

Re: Bolt-on power

Thanks Overkill 19 & Slamnek. That's great to know about the VFORCE 3s but as far as the cluthes go Iv'e done a lot of reading but experience is best. Most guys I ride with never touch there clutches. I did watch DJs' clutch cleaning vid and it's clear to me that I have to buy some clutch tools and start working on these units myself.

Terra Alps Racing inc. has a brilliant future
Re: Bolt-on power

The best gain for a bolt on is our billit head if your riding the mtns a 13.5-1 compression on 91 octane pump gas. On the 06 a v force might make it snappier in the mid but doesn't gain on the top where you hold it wide open 8000 rpm. Next is a air box mod. simple and inexpensive.

What is the cost and what kind of power gains do you get with the same mods on the R motor?
