Turns out i put the wrong base gasket in (too thin) so mountain magic has put in a new kit that comes from Rk-tek that comes with a different head and is said to bump up the motor 15hp. I can't wait ride with this new setup.

The pistons are ProX, the same brand as the 860 kit from Rkt. Compression is bumped slightly from 13.2 to 13.5 so i can still run pump gas. I think i'm the first one from mountain magic to have this kit installed.

Kelsey has told us this due to the success of the new 800 head and piston kit. People are very pleased with the hp increase using the combination that he has developed. See the kit on our website. ( mountainmagic.ca ) P.S. we are not specialty. Last edited by mmagic; 08-17-2009 at 05:55 PM.. |
