PC Suspension!

Hey all, just finished PC my whole suspension. High Plains PC in Bismarck, ND did a great job on it, they did the chrome bumpers on my '46 Ford and are now the first to get that finish on metal, so figured why not.

Front suspension

My favorite, the finish to the steering spindles from the stock aluminum

Rear put together....

Should look killer on my sled once assembled, by far nicer finish than the chipped up stock black!

Re: PC Suspension!

Looks really good. Post a pic once you have the sled back together. I just took in a bunch of parts out yesterday to get coated. Can’t wait to get them back.

Re: PC Suspension!

Finally got the pics of the finished product, really like the outcome from it! A pain to try and fit parts once they have PC on them haha, but well worth it....

Re: PC Suspension!

Looking really good Rob. I haven’t had any issues getting parts back together, but I haven’t done any reassembly for the front yet. I won’t have my A-arms back until Tuesday or Wednesday. My biggest issue was getting the ball joint out of the lower A-arms. I used the press at work with a load cell. It took 1800lb for the first one and 2300lb for the second.
I figured it would be a good idea to have them mask off the hole for the ball joint.

Re: PC Suspension!

I got m A-arms back, and now I know what your talking about Rob. Getting the spindles back on the lower A-arm ball jount is going to be an absolute b*%$.
