![]() | Re: O2 sensor location? I am about to mount one in my X-fire 1000. I bought the NGK AFX brand af guage. I was told by one of our site dealer sponsers to mount the O2 sensor as far from the engine as possible. That would be past the can where the pipe dumps down. This will keep the temps down as much as possible and help prolong the life of your sensor. I will weld the bung in next week... and if we ever get some snow I will let you know how it works. I was also told that a two stroke should run about 12.2-12.5, and a 4 stroker about 14-14.5. I am assuming that those are non turbo #'s. (not sure if turbos are different) Maybe someone else who has run one can be of more help. |
