Important Notice of a weekend event this Saturday.

Tri-County Rodeo/Family Day

Join us for a day of fun events on sleds: barrel racing, pole picking and chuck toboggan race.

Awards for best in kids class (to 13yo), women's and men's classes.

A lot of fun and not to be missed!


Date: Sat February 24, 2007

Time: Arrive at 9:30, events start at 10:30

Location: Meet at the Lakeview Lake Sailing Club at Cooking Lake.

From Edmonton southeast on Hwy 14, then north on Range Road 220 into the sailing club.

Tri-county is providing a BBQ lunch.

HI All

Well if you were not at the Tri-County Sled Rodeo Day on Saturday Feb 24, you missed one hell of a good day...

Weather was excellent at -5 and sunny

Riding was great with tons of snow on the lake and shore lines.
The games and rodeo were a blast...
If you have never been to a sled rodeo you have to come next year.
Had all kinds of riding events from kids to adults and the mock up chuckwagon race was real fun.

We had both fire places burning to warm up all day at or cook a hotdog and enjoy some pops too.
Was nice to socialize with everyone in such warm temperatures outdoors.

Thanks to all that attended and if you missed out please feel free to join us next year.
