 | Jan 13-14 AVALANCHE SKILLS TRAINING COURSE AST1- LEDUC HI All Tri-County is hosting another Avalanche Skills Training Course Date: Tuesday & Wednesday January 13 & 14, 2009 Time: 6:00pm to 10:00pm (be there by 5:30pm for registration) Location: Ramada Inn in Leduc (8340 Sparrow Crescent Leduc) Cost: $350.00 - $100.00 DISCOUNT (first 20 people who paid registration) = $250.00 On hill can be taken one day in January 16-19 or other dates Online sign up at ZacsTracs: Leduc, AB Class is limited so sign up early |

I have $2000.00 in grants ($100.00 per person) to subsities this course and want to see it put to good use in EDUCATING riders I am offering a $100.00 discount to the first 20 paid registrations So pass the word around, it is open to any sledder. You just need a Tri-County membership ($20.00 if you are not already a club member). |

Over the past 7 years Tri-County has hosted the AST1 course (7 course with over 250 people) and calculated the discounts and then paid Zacs Tracs for Instructing the courses. At times this got complicated and now it is best if everyone pays Zacs Tracs for the course and the classroom/paper costs that way she has better control of her courses and costs. Usually everyone in an AST1 course was subsidized but I am at the of the Education Budget ($33,000.00 for Avalanche Course - a special thanks to MLA Mr. George Rogers - Leduc for our CIP Grant - Thanks again) and did not have enough money to sponsor everyone - Sorry. I will be appling for another Education Grant hopefully for next season. |
