To become a volunteer!

Just wondering if it is possible to enter your club in Eckville to be part of your team. I am a snowmobile lover and I am from Quebec, I use to be a volunteer for the last two years for a club in the Lower st.lawrence river region near the New Brunswick border.

So, if you want one more member of your club,

Thank you and give me some news.

Francis

Re: To become a volunteer!

There are 3 main clubs right around Edmonton!

One as Summitric mentioned being The Fort Saskatchewan Snow Angels, they are based out of Fort Saskatchewan area, or more of the North East of Edmonton and Sherwood Park.

The second being Tri-County, they are based kind of south east of Edmonton towards Leduc, and Ministik Areas (Down highway 14).

And the third, is the Trailseekers, we are based mostly in Spruce GRove, Stony Plain area, with our trails being further west by Seba Beach.

Any and all these clubs would LOVE to have more volunteers, come down to the snowmobile show, and check them all out! Meet some of the Snowandmud.com guys, and pick the club(s) of your choice.

Remember there is no harm in being a member of more than one club!

Re: To become a volunteer!

Actually, I will need to update my profile, I live in Red Deer now so, that's why I was asking for Eckville. So, if you have any name contact for that club...

Thanks in advance,

Francis

Question Re: To become a volunteer!

Kind of sad, a biler wants to join the David Thompson club in Eckville and no reply, I'd guess it must be a closed club for a select few? Someone could at least reply with a # to call or meeting dates. Seems to be a few bilers in the RD area, you may get a few members with a reply. seems ED clubs are on the ball.

Not sure of who to contact, but you could try a sled shop in the area, they may know who to contact

You can also try the Caroline club it's as close with good trail system, and they also show up at the sled shows,

Re: To become a volunteer!

You can also try the Olds Snowmobile club. contact is Lyle Statham (Pres) 403 556-7297. Olds has just completed a connector route to the Norh of its trail system to tie into the south Caroline trail system. so when the snow flys there will be plenty of trails to ride on and lots of volunteer work when it comes to trail maintenance and the like.
