It's time to replace the torsion springs in my Summit. I know the race manual shows you can go from the standard white to a red spring but I am wondering is there are any other options? I have heard of people using springs frlm a larger sled (2 up mode) to get better results. Is this an option? I am about 6' tall and weigh around 245 lbs. Thanks for the help!

We have built brackets to relocate the steering post 3" forward. This allows you to reduce the angle between the riser and the steering post, but allows you to keep the handle bars in the same position. Reducing this angle makes steering and sidehilling easier because the axis of rotation goes through the handle bars instead of some point behind them (stock configuration)

I just picked up my new sled last weekend. I noticed unloading I need high rpm to get the clutch to engage and move the sled. I never really got a good look at what the rpm was but would say too high over 5000. Hunting has been keeping me too busy top sit down and look at it. Elevation here is 1200-1300 feet, which is were a fair bit of my riding will be. I will being making 4-5 trips to Revy, Golden, Valemont this year. So now to the question, is it the elevation causing the high rpm for clutch engagement? What weights should I be using in a stock clutch for riding here, is there a quick change thing I can do or is it pull the primary and change evertime I go some where new? This is my first new sled, my first mountain sled, so am fairly new to this, any help is very much appreciated

Hi, was out this weekend with 2 new XP's..one worked flawlessly, the other seems to be leaking fuel..running or not, made a mess in buddy's enclosed trailer. When we took it for a quick test rip a couple of weeks ago we noticed it leaking fuel, and it wouldn't start. Tried the usual type stuff, still wouldn't start..then noticed some crap (looked like dead wasps)in the clear line going into the l/f shockmount (i think it is a hose for the DPM)..anyways we cleaned it out, it started and ran fine..put a bout 13 k on...now it's leakin fuel again and can't find the source..anyone else run into this issue?? Just trying to save a trip back to the dealer>>>

Hey all, I gutted my airbox today on my 670 summitx now from what i read in the search , jet up a couple of sizes. But when i checked my needle , it was on the highest setting, so i dropped that to 3 , now that will richin my mixture for 1/2 to full?. im at 290/300 mains, should i go 310/320? the machine sounded boggy comming down the hill yesterday, when i went for a good climb seemed to power out/not bog at the top of the climb, should have checked my plugs but didnt till i got back down to the cabin clutch side was greyish brown and mag side was darker brown/black. anythoughts, going out around noon tomarrow im gunna do a fullout and pull the plug stop in the medow, but its a good 15k of riding to get there

Clutching and head ratio, i apologise for the long post hello all i had to rejoin due to not excepting email address. Anyway this is my problem . I bought an 07 rev and i dont believe all truths where told, buddy said it was clutched for mountains, while dissamble for cleaning buddy wrote down all specs. Im not a clutching guy so they where just numbers and colors anyway i would like to know the theory behind this setup is it mountain setup or not. A couple buddys have givin there opinion but i would like a few more before i proceed with changing anything.

1st) cudney head--how do i find out compression ratio so i know if i have to run any race mix in it at home 2000ft or mountains 6000-7000 .seller said i should be alright

clutch set up is as follows
secondary.... Red spring *cr-5 helix
primary..... *410 ramps *2mm oversize rollers *extended pins *33 gr weight *white/silver spring (260-420) *quick clickers

sled... 07 rev with fresh short block (varified), v-force 3 reeds, cudney head, flow rites, tpi valves, cassis tunnel and engine stiffening, holtzman nitrous, jaws can , egts on the way
thanks in advance for your opinions.
