it is more than worth it to change to synthetic after break in. longer oil change intervals offset the cost of the oil. as well the reduced maintenence saves you money. the engine will run cooler, maybe a little smoother but last alot longer with proper maintenence. you can call and talk to rob at accurate dyno. he likes the amsoil. he even told me that of i want to run the honda oil i should change it a 50 hours not the 100 like honda recomends. as well for price if you call kevin at rapid revolutions the price isnt much different than buying the name branded stuff like yamlube or honda gn4 or whatever. anyway hope this helps. and just so you know i even run the amsoil in my kids machines.
