I agree with you Murminator but it boils down to a testosterone thing. My lawn mower isn't built for racing either but it didn't stop me from racing my nieghbour down the road with his one day after a few beers
....its all good clean fun once and a while. For the guy's that can't make it through the big mud holes, they need some sort of bragging rights.
