It sounds to me that you want a skid for a good ride and not for climbing in deep snow. There is a HUGE difference.

I live in Chetwynd, BC not Muskoka, ON. Of coarse I want the skid for deep powder boondocking and hill climbing. For 3500.00 I better get both.

Re: Nextech Single Shock Rear Suspension

Thanks. Only lately I started researching the rear suspensions for my XP, so I am only a beginner. The Mountain Magic skid looks like a high quality suspension, would of been my next choice. Keep supporting local.

Get ahold of IMSICK... I know he has one on his apex and as of last yr he loved it. Tell him who ya r, what ya got going on, and papa sent ya. He may be able to help ya with initial set-up

Re: Nextech Single Shock Rear Suspension

I sell and install the kmod rear skid. It makes some very noticeable geometry changes and drastically improves the ride. It also allows for far more adjustability and tuneability for snow conditions and riding styles. The price is very repspectable and install time depending what model of sled its going into is as little as 4hours. PM me for more info

Re: Nextech Single Shock Rear Suspension

so how do you compensate from loose track, no weight, to bottomed out suspension, and you can play a fiddle tune on the track. so i was informed.

Re: Nextech Single Shock Rear Suspension

here is an installed nextech skid. I have tried many rear skids, I can tell you that this is the best riding suspension I have run, from holz to M10's. We'll have to wait for more snow to see how it works in the deep. So far on the trail it is awesome... I also believe this skid is going to allow for far more ski pressure for bigger power.

I sure hope you have something to cover your clutch. That could be an ugly situation.
