Re: Revelstoke Conditions

It was brutal 2 wks. ago Took out my stabilizer bar, a front and my rear shock. Might have softened up since then. If anyone is heading up I have a new sign in book for the cabin that needs to get up there. Get ahold of me. Thanks.

Frisby will be groomed Thur.-Sun. and then will be done for the season also. Still riding from the parking lot there.

Thanks every one who made Revelstoke their snowmobile destination this season. Thanks also to our club members for their support and to the business`s that continued to support our grooming programs. We have a busy summer ahead of us.

Hey Kath!

You let me know if you need help getting groomer parts back and forth to Prinoth. We're glad to help running things back and forth if it helps the club.

Cheers,

Wasn`t me, guess I wasn`t the only one that thought it was inappropriate.
I was just thanking the people that I have worked with all season.

tuesday, weds no new snow but weds was blue skies... somewhat more busier but still lots of pow but none left for the weekend

Re: Revelstoke Conditions

Looks like the middle of winter here with all the sledders in town for the closure opening. There were close to 120 riders up Frisby yesterday. SRS is still grooming Frisby for the wknd. and access is good from the parking area but Boulder is finished for the season. Looks like it is snowing up top today.
Thanks to all the local guys who helped patrol on the last day of the closures.

Re: Revelstoke Conditions

Rode Boulder Wednesday and Frisby's Closure Areas on Thursday. Boulder was a lot of fun with bluebird and a foot of fresh with more in the trees. Suprised how dry the snow still is with the warm temp.

Frisby's Closure terrain is great but lower elevations so it was effected by the warmer weather. Crusty surface first thing in the morning but the sun cured that quickly. Tons of fun.

First pictures is Boulder. The rest from Frisby's Closure areas. The pictures are crap since all I had was my cell phone camera.

Here's the two LOCALS that rode the chit out of the closed cut block on the way up the Veidaman on Easter Monday. They were the only tracks in the fresh snow ahead of us.

Re: Revelstoke Conditions

Your parking across the bridge with big trailers and heading up further with decks and open trailers to the 3 km. junction at Boulder, might be better by the wknd. Still lots of snow. Parking at the Streeter St. junction at Frisby now. Grooming is done for the season. As the snow disappears more on the lower trails at Boulder you guys should head up the Kirkup, better access and parking areas at 4, 6 and 9 km.
........... golf course is supposed to open this wknd.
