01 Bombi 700 Summit 151. Stock engine. Some minor mods to the driveline and chassis. It's like a rap star, practically bulletproof. Has never had to been towed out of the back country. I will try to post a pic.

Re: likes & dislikes

05 900 RMK with a 2.4" 151 track.
likes: with the torque of the 900 and the 2.4" track the sled is a mountain goat. riding in deep snow is amazing cause it is so easy to handle (sidehilling is effortless). the seat height is the best of any stock sleds in 05, it's much easier on my knees. some may laugh but the rider select bars are nice. set them low for the really cold days and ripping down the trail to hills and then up to the top when I'm playing. The shovel holder on the back is great for my 2nd shovel to dig out a stuck sled. The 17" of travel in the back is awesome.
dislikes: the stock skis - bought 08 grippers, stock spindles - bought 08 take-offs. It handles so much better on the trails now. Running boards collect snow/ice without installing sno-eliminators. the fuel gauge is a joke. fAnd finally, the front bumper which can never be used to pull or lift with. Needs a sticker to keep friend from lifting there.

I don't know if I can beat any other sleds cause I'm not into highmarking. My brothers 05 rev will smoke mine on a flat drag race. Something about skidoos that just launch off the line.

Re: likes & dislikes

i have had them all and liked the certain ones for what the offered.

the two i have now are nice, one short track polaris 900 for around the house and the skipoop for the hills is nice, need to add another short track as the little lady has grown quite fond of the 9er and i hate riding the long track around. i may switch the skis to the outside for ditch banging and trail riding, or the better idea is I would love another zr900. i had a 06 and loved it.

3 sleds is better then 2.......but knowing from past experience, you end up being your friend (who sold his having a baby story) sled rental pal

Re: likes & dislikes

Riding T-Nytro last year and this year coming. Feels like a sherman tank but still climbs any where, haven't got the nerve for the big air with it yet. Other sleds I had great luck and most fun with were a 02 RMK 800 Edge, 05 RT 1 litre, and 07 XRS 800R, these sleds handled the punishment great.
Never owned a cat, but they are starting to come around the last two years.

Re: likes & dislikes

Been a die hard Polaris guy for many years, even raced them back when CanAm was still around but, I feel their falling behind compaired to other brands... Had to skip ship to a new Doo this year, hope that doesn`t bit me in the azz......

Re: likes & dislikes

Last yr. I rode new M8, XP, and Poo 600 all in one day. I couldn't believe how well the Polaris turned - Sidehill turn up the hill down, loop around, I felt like I could do it all with just my feet.

I have a '03 Vertical Escape. Crank broke with 1100 miles on it and ended my season early. Now it owes me at least another yr.......lol

Re: likes & dislikes

07 600 Crossfire. Love it. Enough track for up here but probably have a 1.75 in the future if I go back to Revy. 136 is just a personal preference. Ridden them all & I just find it easier to manhandle when boondocking. One disappointment is at hi-speed it chime walks bad. Had a a couple of tank slappers that scared the chit out of me. Bigger track would slow it down. Yeah, that's how I'll coach the wife into a track for my Xmas present.

Re: likes & dislikes

Have a Cat M7, M1000, 69 Panther 370, ZR 120, XP, 79 Chrysler sno runner

Love the M1000
Love the M7
Love the Xp
Like the Panther
Love the Sno runner
Like the ZR

Dislikes
-Hate BRP and everything they do but they do build a good sled
-M1000 Nothing best sled ever
-M7 could use a little more power in places
-Panther is a little rough
-Sno runner is a little tippy and way to hard to side hill
-ZR could use more power

Re: likes & dislikes

Cat... Grew up on them, Dad owned everything since the 60's... ski-doo, snowcruser, blah, blah... once he bought a Cat in '74 he never looked back. It's a family thing. Even my boys ride Cats. If they want to ride a different brand when they get older thats great, it's their choice... I'll just dissown them for life.
