With some planning this idea is workable. However I remember one time I was at Boulder in Revy, and the Cycle Works rig showed up. The rig had to park in the staging area by the highway, but the edge of the snow was way up the mountain. Guys were paying for trucks and trailers to taxi their sleds up to the snow and back.

if you picked your spot like valmount or mcbride i think it would be a great idea with fuel prices and all and if you could get enough people to go to cover all the costs it would probably be a great trip!

Not something you'd plan first trip of the year or late spring, but no reason it wouldn't work for most of the season. Rocky Mountain Tours has been doing it for years.

yes it is if your thinkin of the white and black one ......was a LOT of work apparently school busses are the most well desighned strongest vehicle out there

Was in there on May 18, had to back the trailer up 2 kms, snow was right at a little land bridge, was too narrow and muddy to even think about turning around. If the parking lot was cleared out and no one else was around, you could do it. Getting up the road and not beating your truck up on the deadfalls and overgrowth would be tough in some spots. Some areas would be do-able though, cool idea and good conservative thinking by TT, gold star for trying to help some other sledders out.
