Mud bogs or drag races for util's

Is there any mud bogs or drag races for ATV's in alberta? I have been search and have had no luck. If anyone knows of one please post here with dates and contact numbers please. Thanks

Barrhead alberta is having a mud bog on august 18 I think, I dont have all the info. When I do I will post it. Last years was ok I didnt race as the bike was in the shop. They run trucks in the same pit also so it gets fairly challaging with the deeper ruts. RUVs can also come and play. They had a couple of rino's last year if I remember correctly

I think the interest is there if you are gonna do it let me know, I am a forum troll on alot of forums and can plug the crap out of. My dealership has decided to sponser me so I am in for sure. There are lots of quaders from hinton and edson I bet the turn out would be huge.

Thats what I have been thinking. It could be huge. I have been involved in many of these events. It takes a few good key people and a group of volunteers to make it happen. The trick is finding a group of people willing to work together to make it happen. The last one I was invloved in (Three Hills Mud Bog, June 2001) I did with the help of one partner and 10 or so volunteers. The event went off without a hitch.
So what would be the best format? Single pass mud bog, side by side mud drags, highlifter mud nationals style. Hard pack drags. Obsticle course, tuff truck style. Relay race. ??? Mud Bogs are easy to do. Anytime you race side by side the insurance goes way up. But if the crowd is big enough, anything is possible.

I personally like the mud nats set up...but even side by side would be fun. You could have drag races before then run your mud bog also. When Barrhead had there's there was 150 people and only 25 quaders and the weather was CRAPPY. If you post it I am sure people will come to watch barrhead was pretty much just word of mouth. I live 4 hrs away but I would help you out all I could on the day of the races as long as i still can race LOL.
