![]() | Re: Loon Lake Rally May 3-2008 the snows going fast. I live in loon lake, and we saw most of our snow go yesterday and its supposed to rain here this afternoon so that should help as well. It is going to be a messy rally, i can guarentee that. Didn't go mark it with the boys on sunday, but talked to a couple of them and they said that it should be a gooder. Its taking a completely different route from the previous few years so it will be interesting.

![]() | Re: Loon Lake Rally May 3-2008 good to see theres some ppl on here that are familiar with the loon lake area. The rally wont be going down the old railroad grade, talked to a couple guys and the rally is going north of town this year...not west. So it will be completely different area. Alot of the same terrain, but just in a different area. Lots of the trail that have been used the past few years for the rally are just to pounded out and rutted up. Just for your info tho, the railroad grade is for the most part fixed up. There were a couple service rigs doing re-entries up by the fire tower this winter so they fixed it all up to where you turn south off of it towards the tower. Should be good to drive a pickup down again this summer unless some idiots rut it all up again.
