Edson 6th Annual Poker Rally

When: Saturday July 5,2008
Sunday July 6, 2008 (Geocache with prizes)

Registration: Friday Pre-registration 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturday Registration 8 am - 11 am

Location: Staging area is approximately 16 kms west of Edson, turn right on range road 192 (Swanson Road), 8 kms to staging area on right hand side. Signs will be posted along the highway and RR192

Info: All hands must be in by 5pm
Price: $15 registration and 1st hand, $5 for each extra hand, One free hand for club members.
Sunday geocache registration $TBA

Poker rally registration includes a ticket for a burger and pop after the last check point. Hot dogs available at the third check point.

Prizes for top three poker hands
Prizes by draw for those completing geocache
Lots of door prizes
Raffle tickets/prizes
Extra prizes for club members

Club memberships available, single $30, Family $40 (includes insurance)
Random Camping available at staging area and various areas along the road.
Poker rally distance approx. 50 km

Fun for the whole family!!!

Hey does anyone know if the run is Rhino friendly? I want to go but not sure on how wide the bridges or the trails are. If you know for sure then please let me know. I don't want to drive out there and find that it was a waste of time.

There were a couple guys there in Tomcars last year, seemed to make it through fine. Have fun, I am stuck at work for yet another rally.

Just came home from the rally. I was one of the best organized and run rallies yet. Good work Edson ATV club,job well done. Next year I will camp for sure to much fun still to be had but had to get home. Ron and Dragonlady will have pics and whatever they can tell the stories.

It was a blast,Met a few members like G-Force and ACDC,watched Ron run around like he was on fire.Our group took home a bunch of prizes like 2nd place for 500.00 bucks,A helmit and My Dad got oldest rider in the rally(damn near brought a tear to my eye).Ran into Swamprat and his crew.Was very well run and we will be camping next year as well.
Congrats to the Edson ATV club for another great event.

The Rally was great, very well organized and it sure has alot of volunteers. The trails were well laid out and there was an easy access around every mud hole for the ones that didn't want to go through. Im on my second year at this rally now and the numbers keep getting bigger, there was alot of quadders at this event. Thanks to all the sponsors for the vast amount of prizes as well. I will be posting pictures after I finish going through all 340 of them, give me a day or so. Nice job of the Rally!

Just got done washing everything up..............had a great time as well. Signage was done very well, food was plenty and a sea of orange volunteers. Great job Edson! I'll bring more people next year! Good talking to you Sledderglen. See you at the next event!

Well I have NO pictures, No, insurance papers, left them in the city on my truck seat. Started the rally and NEW quad of 9 hours was overheating, then Water pump broke, Had to get a tow to first stop. Leave NEW quad , hitch a ride, and ya.......................That sucked. But still had a good day and the rally was well planned and put. Thanks guys it was great. Won a outlaw hoodie.
