Stay away from Honda!!!
man u can get honda parts cheap and easy off the internet out of the states and its cheaper then getting it from the dealerships. planethonda.com, bikebandit.com, etc. thats where i got some of my parts anyway. but usally u don't need parts cuz honda is so reliable (for me anyways)

Re: Honda Yamaha or ?

Honda has not abondend canada.. What they have done is consolidated alot of things.. Now a honda dealership will have ALL honmda products from cars to generators.. AND that includes bikes.. ASnd in my personall opinion i would most definitely go with honda.. I worked at a honda dealership for like 9yrs and owned a few.. There aint nobody that builds a motor like a honda.. But his is just my two cents..

Re: Honda Yamaha or ?

Honda has given the big 'f-you' to all mom and pop dealerships.

They have also given the big 'f-you' to small time racing in Canada.

Some explanation;
Honda Canada?s Jerry Chenkin speaks on Honda?s direction and the environment - The Mississauga News - Mississauga.com

or if you want I can give you the email to my friend with the CRF450 who has missed most of the season waiting for parts

i go with b) and c) usually; a) for after market things

a) wait for parts via the internet
b) go to dealer, buy parts, fix, ride asap
c) drop off at authorized mechanic, have them fix it, ride asap
