It all depends on the setup joey. IMO nothing beats the turbo'd 4-stroke on the lake or straight up the hill.

Re: yamaha phazer

Just like when everyone sees my Turbo Nytro and says to me, "that thing must be fast". ITS NOT FAST. It still has the stock gearing. It just gets there quick.

It does go up the side of mountains rather well though.

Re: yamaha phazer

yah but still 4-strokes are better for example you only have to put oil in them once a season, better gas milage, less polution, and soun way better! (2-stroke ping ping PING ping ping PING!) me and my dad ride all day and i'll come back with 1 quarter of a tank hill come back with half

Re: yamaha phazer

I ride in 2.5 feet of powder for 2 hours and am empty. 4Stroke Turbos do not get good mileage. 7 gallons just doesnt last like it used to. Hence the 10.4 gallon tank I bought and the 2, 2 gallon jerry cans I carry.

In a field it does 160km/hr and hits the rev limiter. But it is not made for speed.

I think you normaly fill up on everyride, and second some people love the sound of a 2 stroke, i only like the sounds of the four stroke when its turbo'd and besides you ride a 2 stroke phaser

Yamaha 4 Strokes is on a distinguished road
Re: yamaha phazer

first of all, yes a 4 stroke is winning some snow cross but it is a 3 cylinder 1050, not a 4 cylinder 1000, second its a nytro not a rx-1 so theres is a difference of 200 pounds at least...., third a pipe and carbides and widening kit dont make it faster the widening kit was because its too tippy for your old man so he widened it, fourth id like to see you dig out and move a stuck rx-1, your 13 and not supermans son everyone gets stuck a few times in the mountains and with a stock bones rx-1 youd better eat a whole box of wheaties, and fifth i never said 2 strokes were faster or better than 4 strokes, i just said a bigger engine in four stroke is compareable to a smaller 2 stroke, you should get your old man to maybe teach you some stuff about sleds b4 you go out and yap like you know what you talking about

I dont know if this fits in with this thread i just like telling stories
