Looking for tips and info for a fishing trip planned the weekend after May Long. My friends company wants me to bring my boat and they will cover all my expenses if return for somewhat guiding the trip. Thanks in advance for any and all tips and info. Cheers, Joel

if your going for walleye dont bother the elders net that lake as well as canoe lake and there's not much for walleye or pike after that happens

We are having no problems catching either, pounded pike all day til we were tired yesterday. Other boat in our group slayed wallys all day in a different spot... Great fishing lake but lots of shallow areas to watch out for. Also lots of algae blooms and weeds for the time of year, would be pretty gross in late summer I think.
