Hi All. Writing here in the hopes someone can help me. I have a 2010 KX450. Bike has low hours and has run great. Just did a top end to refresh. Put the engine back in the bike. Rode it twice with no issues. Went to start it today and no go. Spark is good. Tested electric fuel pump and it's good. Just won't start. Anyone have any ideas or know someone that has the Kawasaki diagnostic tools? Anyone do work on these bikes from there home?Frustrated. Thanks.

I hope it's that simple. I honestly didn't try that. Bike was running fine yesterday. Thanks

Kill switch good. Primed bike down plug hole and it fired up. Fired up hot every time. Weird. Fuel pump or electrical?

Fires hot, Valve adjustment? What about a choke on those early FI kawis? They have a choke pull lever either on the bars or its the same knob used for the idle. You pull it out and it acts like a choke (enrichener) If it idles fine once warm/hot it sounds more like just a bit of fuel adjustment is needed.

I solved all my problems with my green bike. I bought an orange one.

Well I'm down to capacitor, fuel pump or flywheel. Couple more tests and I should have it pinpointed (I hope). When you hook a 12v direct instead of capacitor it fires first kick so I'm close. However from what I read it could be any number of things so I'm systematically going through it all. I cant afford orange like you.
