haha... yeah... that would hold maybe 7 bags... and be a beotch to push thru the grass.

will stick to the four wheelers and golf carts. lol

i hope we can stay above it also.. we are at 16.8 feet i think right now.. supposed to get to 18.0 feet bye tomorrow.. not much time to get grandpas dike built

Wholey CHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

I just seen this Thread.
Kyle, and Rob, you guys are stand up ppl for everything you've done for helping each other, and others out. I hope the sand bagging is all for not.
But kudos to all you out there doing what you all are doing.

hey Kyle and Rob........ gots some bad news for you guys down stream on the missouri.......theres still tons of snow up in the mountains in Montana and Idaho..... will try and post some pics later. But the Missouri is overflowing the banks in some areas, and they're all sayin' its gonna get way worse before it gets any better.... we went through a severe rain storm on the way back, and in Great Falls, they said the water rose 2 feet just from the storm upriver....... Post up some new pics about how the battle is goin' ...... feelin' sorry for you guys! :(

thanks ric.

will get some new pics up.

the river level is now above 18 feet (flood stage is 16) and its still coming up.

they are still increasing the release rate out of the dam, its now above 130,000cfs

we have been getting alot of rain lately and its not helping the matter either... i was up at my grandparents this past sunday and the water is starting to breach their neighbors dike around their cabin.. they got 2 sump pumps running right now. who knows if it will last..

they are saying this high water will be around till middle of august now.

YA, I BELIEVE THEM AT SAYIN' TIL MIDDLE OF AUGUST. LOTSA SNOW UP IN THOSE MOUNTAINS STILL...... SALT LAKE CITY HAS LOTS OF FLOODING PROBLEMS WITH DIKES BREAKING TOO. WAS WATCHING THE NEWS AND SEVERAL LEVIES BROKE AND FLOODED SEVERAL NEIGHBOURHOODS DURING THE WEEK WE WERE OUT THERE. WE WERE OUT THERE SAME TIME 2 YEARS AGO, AND THERE WASN'T MUCH SNOW UP IN THE MOUNTAINS THEN, BUT SURE IS A LOT NOW. EVEN SEVERAL OF THE SKI HILLS ARE STILL FULL OPERATION..... WOW! HOPE YOU GUYS CAN GET SOME RELIEF OF THE FLOODING SOMEHOW:eek:

and now for some bad news.. this is what happens when the dike lets go.

this is just 3 house to the north of my grandparents. there is a in ground swimming pool in the left side of the picture.. gone.. and the building on the right is the cabin they are gonna try and save. with the heavy rain that we just got 2 days ago it caused the dike to let go.
