Was wanting to go this Friday. Stage on Dutch Road hopefully go up to Atlas. Anyone been in there recent. Was wanting to go between north fork turn off and shelter and check it out. Are the rocks barried good enough on trails yet?

Conditions not ideal to sled in Atlas, checked out the whole area, found more snow on west facing slopes in trees where wind has deposited. Not enough snow in bowls and most trails thin. Looked to be more snow east of trunk road on way back to Coleman. Road plowed due to logging activity.

I'm not sure where you were in Atlas but I've been riding lots of untouched powder for the last 2 days...could certainly use more snow, especially at the north end.

Ya we staged at Dutch Camp ground and rode stuff on Atlas between Race Horse Pass and Dutch road. Went up in all the bowls between Dutch road and the bowl west of Shelter. Noticed snow getting better as we worked south. Thought we would go out on the connector by the flare stack heading east to lease road and jump on pipe line and go back to Dutch road. Found out not enough snow at pipeline heading towards Dutch road. Would of wrecked something so we had to go back around to atlas to go back.
