I am having some troubles with my computer and I am also pretty much
a computer dummy.Surfing internet sites like snow and mud, kijiji, ebay, ect.
I have to hit the back button sometimes 3 or more times before the page
responds.(mostly kijiji) I have ran the super anti-spyware program and the
anti-malware program I have several times and nothing comes up for problems.
When im loading a page from kijiji for example there is a click, click, click many
times like something is trying to divert the browser away from where its trying to
load from.Is anyone on here computer smart that could help sujest a way of giving
my computer a good cleaning?
Thanks in advance to anyone that may reply.

I have microsoft security essentials and Malwarebytes anti-malware,both updated and ranregularly.I went into my internet properties under the privacy tab and turned it up from med. to med/high. All of the stupid click, click, click crap dissapeared. But now I cant seem to save add'sfrom kijiji to my favorites list?Even the snow and mud main page used to take 20 or more secondsto load, now it loads much quicker. My main problem seems to be gone for the moment.Thank'sfor the advice.Ps. I hit control/alt/del.to open up the task manager to see if something was running that shouldntbe and there was nothing there except the internet pages that I had open. The site that was giving me the most grief was kijiji.Once I opened an add,I had to hit the backbutton on internet explorer anywhere from 3 to 5 times to get a responce. Then there was the constant click, click, click.Like a program was trying to divert the browser from where it was trying to go.

Try downloading and installing Firefox as your browser. IE has a lot of holes in it that let malware in. So go to getfirefox.com and download and install Firefox and then use the Tools/Add-ons to get Adblock. When you go to /Tools/Options/make sure that you have the popup blocker active -- and then you should be good.

Chrome is a better browser over Firefox. Also check for Add Ons in Internet Explorer. Tools --> Manage Add Ons. I disable everything except Adobe Flash. Could be an add on trying to do something.

these guys have suggested everything I would already..... The only other thing might be try using tabbed browsing instead of multiple instances of the browser (new windows)

especially google toolbar, it itself is malware, but it goes undetected, not sure of deal boat, never heard of it, but sounds like a fishy program regardless, if you uninstall both of them and still have the same issue, go into the command prompt for dos, and type in chkdsk, it will run a small test and sometimes gets things back into a proper rythm.
good luck
