hey there my wireless doesnt work on my hp laptop ... i am using a linksys stick now ... it stopped working about a year ago then about a week ago it started working again then stopped after a day... anything i can do too fix this other then getting a new laptop ...

Control Panel/Network Connections Right click on your wireless connection choose Properties will bring up your configuration options...
or...
Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager and see if there is a a yellow explanation mark or a red x beside Network adapters.

look around the base and edges of the laptop for an on off switch for the wireless,
otherwise its alot of mumbo jumbo

Have you tried an ipconfig release/renew?
