'Command T' creates a new tab. Same as using 'Ctrl T' on a PC.

Apple.com/ca has a section for new mac owners that shows you all of the commands and finger gestures.

Bet you didn't know three finger diagonal swipes navigate you through pages?

4 fingers up hides all open apps, and 4 fingers down lets you bring them back.

Command + enlarges, same as pinching on your track pad. Theres tons of these little gestures that makes a  awesome!

what do you mean by "when i plug it into my dvd drive? Do you mean the software that came with it? Maybe its not Mac compatable. Did you try plugging the drive directly into the machine and letting her buck? I'm using my iMac right now, my wife brought home an external drive from her work containing a program in it, Apeture for Mac, and I just plugged that fugger right in and away I went  what is the model number on your new drive? I'll take a look for you.

aw hell i thought i had mastered all the finger gestures but i didnt know about the three diagonal! awesome lol

also if you hold control while using 2 finger swipe, you can zoom in a LOT. its perfect for facebook creeping when you havent added the person yet and all you can see is there profile pic. u can zoom right in!!

It's mac compatible, the fella at future shop said it's the best one out their for them:confused: we normally used thumb drives but bought this for all the storage. so when i would plug it into my usb port on my dvd player and try to watch a movie as i use to with a thumb drive it acts like nothing is their.

I still find it hilarious mac users need to run windows programs because mac doesn't support a lot of things.

They make a decent phone, but not convinced with the computer yet. Their phone OS is still plagued with issues.

Have never owned a Iphone but know several people who do and they all have had problems. Not sure if its the phone or telus. I do own a mac book pro and don't run windows. because of my job i do have to run excell but they make a version for mac, no big deal. actually i have found the bigger problem with others who run older versions of windows not being able to open some of my files where as my mac will accept everything. Now days any software company with half a brain makes mac compatable software.
