It's so spring time snow dependent, and two days with a Chinook and it's all gone

Very doubtfull there would be enough were we are south fork and there was not enough snow to ride a mountain sled
the west country around. Nordegg is a spring riding zone

The Little horn trail is closed indefinitely to all motorized travel less horses, mountain bike, or foot.
OHV use from Dec 1st too Feb 1st
Snowmobiles from Dec 1st to April 1st.

Looks like you missed the ride date by 11 days if using OHV. Un-less I read the 2015 regulations wrong.

Yes to Big & Little Horn trails closed, but Whitegoat Trail is in Green that might mean open for sleds, but not 100% sure. It is a bit East from the helicopter pad, and the old gas station.

PS: Don't forget to pick up the new 2015 Big Horn Rec Map as it has up-dates from the 2010 map that is now out-dated.

with trax , its legit. its the wheels/tires that are not permitted . dudes out there in their beefed up quads & side by sides with 30" mud tires chewing up the trails is whats not permitted

thanks for the info guys , i didnt think that the big & little horns were open , as ive been riding in the area for a few years & never seen any makings for them.
i was aware of the whitegoat staging area but just thought the horns would be a cool loop/trip if open/accessible
anyone know the snow conditions around the hills in the dam site ?
