i have dropped my galaxy s many times onto concrete and once threw it at my windshield in anger. cracked the windshield but the phone was fine haha

Quite frankly, with the glass finish the iPhone sports, I don't think that it would stand that much of a chance when it is dropped.

That is something that looks really classy though and I know that most people would still fancy that type of look. THe s2 though sports a very thin profile and though it might be able to survive a bigger impact, I think that it would be easier to snap at that type of bend.
