E-mail, Safari, Face book, Kijiji, Snow and Mud on my bookmarks on the net, Unit Converter, Ebay, All In one Camera, Flashlight, DYNO test (or something like that) and A dictionary. Those are my top apps/things that i really use. Even though i may be 14, i don't play games on my Phone, or have crazy stuff on it, that is what other stuff is for.

You can't delete those apps....just move them all too a page you don't scroll to very often. You can hide them but only if you jailbreak your phone..... Back to cool apps, I have one called Peaks that uses you camera and gps to identify mountain peaks and takes a picture with there names and elevations displayed. Pretty cool and can't wait to try it out in Vale/Blue this winter.

Haven't tried it myself, but one of the recent updates allowed you to create folders. You could try making a folder for "crap" and putting the unwanted stuff in it. That'll at least condense it so it's less intrusive.

Jailbreaking is modifying your iphone/ipod so that it plays software not approved by Apple.

Unlocking is modifying your Iphone so that it can run on a carrier other than the one it's designed for.

Neither are available for the latest firmware(4.1), but a jailbreak is expected within the next few days.

Once the jailbreak is released, you can run some software to jailbreak your iPhone, then use a separate program (cydia) to download apps which aren't found on the app store. From there, you can add a program called Installous, which will give you access to App store apps, minus the price...

The downside to all of this will be that if she updates her phone to a newer firmware version, the jailbreak function will be eliminated and any apps that she got through the jailbreak will be useless.

The whole process is fairly simple if you have some basic computer skills and are willing to do a few Google searches to figure it out. Of course, until the latest jailbreak tool is released (Greenpois0n), all we can do is sit and wait.
