yes you can but it’s a pretty hairy ride for the first km up the Blindman from the red deer, not for faint of heart. Buddy’s said they couldn’t get under old ce trail bridge now a walking bridge.

Would think the little red deer and medicine accessed from RD would be pretty good right now too.

Went for a rip with the family today. Was a beauty day. Launched at magoos, down to the simmonette, then back up the Smokey to the rat shack. Lots of boats on the water. Break in is complete on the new engine and the tuning is almost done.

You folks that are running in the Kinbasket. Are you launching in the north (Valemont) or the south (Golden). Is one better then the other, sights, travel, fishing?

At the valemount end there’s a couple of free gravel launches , and there’s also the ramp at the marina that you have to pay to use but would be a very safe place to leave your truck for a few days if your camping on the water. I’ve never launched at golden. I know on the valemount side you would be lucky to see 2 or 3 other boats total over the coarse of a long weekend.

I finally managed to get out saturday as well. Seen you guys when we where having lunch, thought I would catch up an BS at the dam but must have missed you guys in there somewhere.
