Well I took the kids to dinosaur lake this weekend camping. Had a great time. The spillway was open when we ran up to the dam. What a crazy amount water coming out of that baby. Was sunny and didn’t rain. Lots of boats out and easy access.

Cheers

How is the water level out there on NSR from Saunders west to the dam? Can a person run the larger 21 foot 12 degree boats on it?

That stretch stays pretty much at the same level. Doesn’t vary as much as the rest of the river. It’s do able all year.

Did the Murray River two weekends ago. Water was high and fast and actually pretty clean. Saturday to Kinuso Falls it was a little rainy but still a great trip and the falls always are impressive whether its spring summer or winter. Only seen 2 other boats.
Sunday turned out to be a nice day and a pile boats went to the falls - we went downstream to box canyon and beyond. Watched a mountain goat watching us for a while. We were the only boats down stream that day.

Chrisco, When I left the dam I tried to find where you guys stopped for lunch, all I heard was "left backwater once back in the river" but I missed it again. Beauty day.

Thanks Neil, thats why I missed you last time as well I guess, I normally run the northern channel. Blue hammerhead was at the dam when you come and got your lost boaters.
