Get up in the north east, quad travel is pretty soft in a lot of country.

Don't know where your thinking of for remote hunts, hopefully not alberta because I think I have checked most everything on that front and its easier access with quads! Just thought I'd let you know in case you hadn't researched it that much.

100% if $$ is no object, 200 is the answer, figured a guy could find a 175 combo and save some cash, buddy of mine runs a 10ft Jetstream with a 951 doo, oil injection delete and go, stator bolts backed out and put a hole in the case this summer, picked up a whole ski that was mint low hours for $2800, has spare everything now. does just shy of 48mph and sips fuel!

Just go 200 then you got fuel injection and more power. They are same weight pretty much and more parts for the 200. And who doesn’t want more power! I think they’re a better motor and pumps then a pwc set up, way tougher and will give the boat more room.

I wish they would taper the nose and do a nice windshied set up on the 13ft trappers! that would be mint!

I ran a Bratt 12 ft menace for 3 summers was a hoot, only down sides I saw were rough riding as only weighed 800lbs total on big water they are bumpy. and although my kiwi pump was all alum the stock impeller was weak for the task if to run much gravel through it. If you build one do some research on the donor most are plastics. Also there are custom Hd impellers I just never got one. They are meant for shallow braided rivers are shocking how little water you can run and how well they handle. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bratt guys to anyone they were excellent to work with as I did most of the rigging. There are a few on jetboatsforsale web site. Outlaw are obviously excellent as well just a much bigger shop might be tough to get help to rig yourself.

Sea doo utopia boats have sport jets in them if anyone is looking for a donor. You can pick them up cheap if you find them. Then you have good trailer for your mini to.

Doing a transplant?

Depending what route I go with this spring it my be a possibility. I really want the extreme duty but I want it with a EcoBoost. Talked with kingfisher and the are putting it in the fast water this year but I want a smaller boat and I only want a 8° dead rise

I think someone needs to build a 15ft 4 seat lightweight hull and power it with a 4 stroke seadoo motor. My 215 rotax easily pulls my 13ft out of the water, I think I'd have more than enough power for a couple feet more length and the weight of 2 extra bodies, and you could even go to a 255 or 300 just to be sure.

I like the idea of big boats but I've yet to ride in one that has performance that impresses me. I think the above would be a reasonable compromise between the 2.

ever tried a 16 foot step teck from Eagle? Buddy has one, it might be 17 feet but sounds kinda like what you are looking for.

Really think the bomb would be the new eco boost 2.3L with a regular sized 9 inch impeller pushing a 15-16ft hull.

if anyone wanted what looks like a good starter boat there’s a 17ft Eagle 240hp sport jet has under 100 hours on jet boats for sale. They are noisy as hell but excellent boats.
