I am looking at a used pontoon boat interior, deal seems good but I don't want to drive from Edmonton with a trailer just to be disappointed. 7802898593 if you want to text me and maybe take a look on my behalf? Thanks!

Re: interior in Lloydminster

Ok, I bought the interior which gets me closer to assembling my twin project. The interior has little black spots all over it... I want to try and clean it before looking at re covering it all. What does a guy use to clean the vinyl? Looks like it sat outside for a bit.

Magic eraser is abrasive. Repeated use will wear of the smooth finish of vinyl and cause to become brittle...

Correct , but if wanting to just get stains off they work .
GOJO hand cleaner and rag takes stains off as well but wouldn’t recommend using it all the time .

We have always used spray nine as well. We usually dilute it a bit and use a good medium to hard bristle brush and it usually cleans off everything, then use a damp rag to wipe off any remaining spray nine. By the sounds of what you have to clean be prepared to spend a long full day cleaning especially if you are OCD like me haha.

I have used this before, its slow and works most times..

as for the mold, most bath room cleaners will work with mold and mildew removers or an all purpose cleaner if its minor. I ordered some marine 31 mildew remover which is highly recommended but have yet to try it. Of course with most bathroom cleaners remove your carpets as they will usually have a bleach of some sort in there.

Re: interior in Lloydminster

I only have a couple of bottles I ordered recently this weekend.. it’s a last resort for me as well. Expensive.. try the kitchen bath mildew remover first. CLR usually works good in combination with a good APC. You can get some totally awesome cleaner at dollar stores in Edmonton. It is pretty awesome value for what it can do at a $1 per bottle. Also a suggestion at the end of the year dry everything out thoughly in a heated shop if possible. Put your top on and give the interior an ozone shock treatment. I really like aerospace 303 as a dressing for boat vinyl. Holds up well and is about the best UV treatment you can get.
