33 mph boys. That’s with no fuel on board and only in my boxers.

That’s all your boat will do wide open? I thought it would be faster then that. If I took the junk out of mine I could probably get 43mph. But I am always packing more than I need. And got a stereo, heater , bbq, and whole bunch of stuff that weighs me down I could take out.

8 degree , 212 Hamilton, 21.5. ft . Bottom had a redo in 2016 , (rocks are hard) . This pic was in 2017 on wapiti. 58 mph , 59 kept popping up on gps but wouldn’t stay long even if we rearranged ourselves in boat , about 140 litres of fuel and 2 guys. When I bought this boat it didn’t have a stomp grate , would see just over 60 , I put a stomp grate in soon after , dropped the top speed drastically. We play in shallow water way to much to go without one. I don’t think most guys realize how much it takes to gain even 2 or 3 mph , it’s tough , Especially in the volume pumps like Hammy and Scott. Sure are a lot of nice boats around now though .

What kind of MPH do these tubs do at cruise and WOT?

I had mine out for a rip yesterday on the NSR at home and these are some cruise numbers for you.

Upstream
27-28mph
3150 rpm
36L/hr

Downstream
30-31mph
3050rpm
33L/hr

Keep in mind river water speed and depth all play a part. If I run shallow I can pickup another 1-2mph on each cruise speed in the NSR, I have to stay in less than 12" of water though. Also on the Ram river (which I only run about 10km with this boat the same rpms as above give me 15mph upstream and 40+mph downstream speeds.

WOT, I have no Idea really, in deep water on a lake I would guess 45mph. I have seen 50mph before going downstream in shallow water, If I could go WOT downstream on the Ram I bet I'd have a 60mph boat!

The only way my boat breaks 40 is to put it in the trailer and pull it with my truck lol. It’s seen 160km before lol.

I’ve compared on river and lake quite a bit Chris with same set up . It may make 2 mph difference , maybe , but not likely . Where it makes a huge difference is your hole shot , way worse.
