Well gang. Got a little Christmas present for the boat this year. It was due. I didn’t puncture but the slip cote just wasn’t cutting er. New thrust b and seal. I also need a new impeller. Going stainless now.

I’m debating plug welding some uhmw on my boat. I think for the amount of time I have it may be a next winters project.

Looks like the stuff that’s not bolted on ? Good luck .

What it came down too is, I know I don’t have a shallow water boat. It’s set up for fishing and not running skinny. The keel strip with some added plating made the most sense without adding a bunch of weight. It didn’t help that I have a belly tank either. Made it really difficult for adding extra stringers. If I had an 8 degree it would be bolted up at Rods.

I will be a nice piece of mind incase you zig when you should of zagged. When you say Rods I used to chase rigs with Rodney up in gp, I just can’t think of his last name he worked for Risley.
