My brother in law bought one new in 96 , i think it is the 535 Allante, he has had no problems with it, 4.3 gets decent mileage and still can pull the tubes around. The valves are starting to go but still runs great. It was a nice boat when he bought it and still is a nice boat for 22 years old.

Mine would be in the 6500 ish range, tandem trailer, fish finder with voltage and temp, till steering I added, Bimini top I added, 645 hours, auto bilage pump, omc cobra leg ( similar leg to a alpha 1, without the water pump issues), stereo and extra Speakers with Amp

4.3L is V6 Chevy engine. tons of them out there. Very reliable engine. cant go wrong with the Volvo Penta. Not too sure about the Hull but bu the looks of the picture it looks like it was well maintained. I had a 4.3L Mercruiser alpha 1 never had a lick of problems with the engine.

I just recall ya it's haul is weak yes, doesn't go through water clean, and like I said there's a different name one that looks the same, and was cheap azz, wiring and gauges e.c.t

Like tex said. they are supposedly weak. I personally have no experience with that hull but that is what I've heard from other people when I was looking for a boat back in 92. If the hull was indeed weak there would be evidence of cracking in the gelcoat by now. Check it out and if it looks good then the stories of the hull being weak are just that , stories.

That's good to know and something to look for. I'm trying to get a hold of the owner to go and see it in person.

Call Jim at j. B marine in sicamous, tell him I sent you to call, with all the info on the boat, and ask about issues

He's a Bible in his head on boats, been doing it for 35 years
