Will get pics of the interior but it is mint, with new upholstery.

Probably would get more by selling the engine separately. Pretty sure you are not going to see $7k for everything unless it is something someone want specifically.

you selling it ? I have a buddy who loves those boats
Yes he would like to sell it. Still gets lots of attention at the lake. He was hoping in the $18000 to $20000 range but I really have no idea. Lived it’s whole life in a heated shop. Never left over night off the trailer.

No way he’ll see anywhere near what he wants. I’d say around 8 grand tops. Looks good but it’s just not worth what he wants.

Nothing, give it to me lol. Super nice boat, very similar Hull as my deltacraft, mine was assembled in Regina back when they had the plant here. That thing has got to go over 50mph... my boat with a 115 on it goes 47. Although that one is 2 feet longer.

Either way what a nice boat. I wish my paint and body was in that good of shape.

i’d honestly Say he would have a lot better luck trying to sell the boat down in the states. Bigger market, exchange rate in your favour, and people love those old boats. Especially with the flake gel coat.

In that’s shape probably 6k ish. Like said above you would probably get more separating. It sounds weird but the motor by itself is probably worth more to someone than the boat and motor

The 4 stroke engine is $20000
There still has to be some value here.
Sure, but the point is, no one is going to want a 40 year old boat unless you are specifically looking for some nostalgia. If so, yes pretty cool, otherwise, the boat is worth nothing. So, what is the engine worth? Best case 1/2 new, plus the cost of removing it, most likely replacing or updating some controls, etc. Then you have to dispose of the boat. Trailer would probably sell.

Like I said earlier, you will get more selling the engine separately and hope to sell the rest later.

I've been through this before with a much newer boat, so I have to agree. Sold my Campion Explorer a few years ago with a 20hrs old current year 115 Merc 4 stroke on it and didn't even recover what I and insurance had just paid for the motor a month previous.

I put a new 200 ETEC ($18k) on my 1982 18' Sidewinder that I've owned for 35 years, but I would be lucky to get $12k for it. It's never going to be worth much more , even though it is in great shape.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
I rebuilt the identical boat right down to the last screw many years ago. I have never seen the same boat up until now. So cool!
Man that boat saw a lot of orgies. Ahhhh those were the days.
Since metal flake paint and short ski poles are a natural aphrodisiac, you were probably conceived on that boat.
