Why do you want a diverter or trim nozzle?
To put out camp fires ? Lol
Electric or hydraulic trim tabs are far better .
Just wedge nozzle like you said and trim a bit after for weight in boat.

Call exact. Flow pro and Hamilton are pumps that can take a beating. Claude knows jets, he came out with us last yr and filled us with knowledge on your choice of motor/pump combinations and why. Shy away from sport junk.

Maybe he wants to go fast, turn sharp and look good doing it? My 90+ mph eagle sport is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Axial flow pumps are great for pumping gravel, not everyone wants to do 50 mph wide open tough...

heard good old things about the exact kit but 4500$ is insane

maybe a race nozzle and trim tabs? Best of both worlds? No reverse though...

Bingo... yes going fast, looking good, having ability to adjust boat attitude to do so is the objective. But still want reverse that's the issue. Have had boats with and without reverse, preference definitely is to have it. Appreciate all the input not sure which way I will go at this point, might just run a fixed wedge with stock nozzle and bucket.

This isn’t a race boat comment but pleasure craft. “Race nozzle completely different “
From what I have experienced with adjustable nozzle is sure you can adjust boats handling a bit.
If you have to adjust the nozzle so it’s pointing to much up or down ?
The boat just slows so much it will take the porpoise out of it ?
Watch GPS and adjust very little from straight it will help but anything over is a waste of time .

I have seen a short race nozzle with an 312 bucket setup modified to fit. Might have been RC who built it, 17' eagle if I remember right. Was a cool setup. Give him a shout, maybe coyote manufacturing can build another?
