Are those the Lenco trim tabs?

I actually am not sure what brand they are. They were on the boat when I bought it from the original owner. The boat lost its sight a couple times since I’ve owned it and the bottom committed suicide . Jet craft here put an entire new bottom and intake in it , and I decided not to put any uhmw back on , since then I very seldom use the tabs, even when carrying a bigger load. I’ll see if I can find out the brand .

Call Bernie at Eagle and he will set you up with the right actuators for tabs. Electric screw jack is the way to go, no hydraulic pump/tank/issues.There’s 4 second and 8 second actuators for fine tuning.

Agree with the electric ones . Way less crap to deal with.

Seen hydraulic ones blow up to.

Had them for years and still have on big boat ,no problems at all . Only time they blow up is if pushed below the boat bottom and you hit something.
Electric are just so much easier to install .
Another thing is have the biggest possible tab you can so you don’t need to move it much .
Good running boats don’t need much adjustment at all .

It was on a heavy boat only one cylinder and on the Upper Braz. Thing tend to get wrecked on the upper Braz lol. If was from getting hit. Electric something else would just give.

You got an air or electric stomp grate on that boat? I don’t see a stomper.

Do they make a big difference on a jet boat, worth installing? I see that some builders have their own designs on their boats.

IMO they are a must if you want the best performance at all times ?
Can you make boat work without ? You bet but no adjustment for weight and have to move the people or weight around as you burn fuel off or lose weight .
On a boat you are adding and subtracting weight all the time with passengers, fuel , gear or whatever.
Adjustable nozzles are a waste of money IMO . Lots like them but if you adjust them to much you loose a lot of speed and cruising speed .
I have tried them and have one on my SJ as it came with it but wouldn’t waste money on buying one .
May even take it off and install adjustable tabs but down side to that is busting the ram off in the rocks as boat is made for that .
Most manufacturers don’t put them on due to cost and can get away without them .
Fire fish has a nice weld on set up that adjusts with a wrench . Good and strong .

Sorry was talking about the trim tabs.

Oh that makes since lol. I think they are a good thing to have. But I wouldn’t put on ones that are electric or hydraulic. To me manual ones would be a pain to adjust and you’d never adjust them to the best they could be.
