Slow and easy .
Most I see back way to far in with a river boat anyway.
I only back in far enough so water is just over the back of bunks .
Pump will push you on.

Yah that’s what I do to but my old boat was bare aluminum with just carpet on the bunks. And I had the Yamaha jmax motor that did not like gravel or sand. So every time I used the jet to get me on the trailer I wrecked an impeller.

Ah yes the good ole boat launch. Provides hours and hours of entertainment. I love the people that get in line then decide to un-tarp, remove back straps, load coolers, load passengers....... then there’s the gems who don’t teach anyone else in their family to back up the truck or drive the boat so they have to hop all over the launch line a monkey. Seriously. My wife and kids have been taught to do both jobs. My kids have loaded our surf boat since they were 12. I’m sure these people can learn too. Maybe not?

Bring on the snow.....

We found a plastic bag at one of the unofficial boat launches at the Koocanusa on Saturday afternoon when we were launching to go boat camping. Looked inside the bag and found a soiled diaper.

It was still there when we pulled the boat out this morning so we took it back with us. What kind of person leaves a soiled diaper for someone else to deal with....if you can’t deal with it don’t have kids...fricken losers.

I am sooooo glad I have my own dock and don't have to frequent the boat launch.

Most of the folks who know what they are doing are smart enough to get to the lake early before the crowds show up. If you watch the folks launching between 7am and 9am they all pretty much have their chit together and the line (if there is one that early) moves pretty quickly. It's when all the noon-ers show up that things go to chit.

I've spent a lot of time watching the shenanigans at the Wab park launch and every time I thank baby Jesus I'm not in that line up, I'd likely end up arrested or boot fawked.

Ya I see a white ford launching a boat and had the truck easily to top of driver seat.......strangely it stopped running.

You are lucky to have live comedy every weekend!

what a joke. Thanks for taking it with you. If you didn't it would still be there next year. I would love to see some idiot do crap like that as I would have no problem having a chat with them.
