I would love to watch the guy I sold my old boat to back it in to the lake. He tried 3 time to back just his truck with out the trailer down my driveway lol. My drive way is only 50' long. I finally just stopped him a lifted the boat on his truck before he hit my fence.

your driveway is a pretty complex alley way to maneuver into..........

I've been looking longingly at boats for a couple years now but continue to talk myself out of one as I really "just don't have the time to use it"........ one day maybe, for now, I'll go sit at the launch and laugh at people, or take lessons

$10 to launch at The Marina in Sic... and they back it in then park for you if you lack skills or confidence... Pretty sure they'll back in for you to load as well. Great if you're alone too. Money well spent IMO

I open my tail gate to back into the water with no boat on. That way it's easier to see the trailer past my duals, and lots of rivers don't have as nice of launches as lakes like Genesee.

Oh I know I would...... Would have to get either a fifth wheel or truck camper so I could combine it with camping too.

What about the folks that bring their dog to the launch to throw sticks. No other place to do that?

I had a guy fishing on the boat launch at coal lake. I backed my truck up and he just sat fishing asked him to move and he gave me attitude!

The launch in Canoe between salmon arm and sic is probably the worst I have seen, between the train tracks, paddle people, boats speeding past the beach and kids playing on the ramp I'm surprised there isn't more incidents.

Tom, you forgot to mention that you have to pretty much drive to the middle of the lake to get any depth to launch when the lake is low.

That was probably the only issue we didn't have when there a couple years ago.I even got a parking ticket for parking in the designated area for trucks with trailers. Guess the parking authority didn't notice the 25ft trailer behind the truck. We actually watched a guy launch his boat and just left his truck on the ramp for half hour while he showed off in the middle of the lake.
