I thinking it might be too early still, another couple weeks, like beginning of May.

Usually at this time of year the water is very murky because of run off.
when run off slows down it gets better. We got hit by this heat that increased the run off so the water will be cloudy.
But after saying that, I would use a larger attracter or flasher and fish close to the surface so the natural light reflects better in the murky water.

and I would keep my distance from getting to close to creeks coming in.

these were caught easter Friday. One was 5.5 lbs and the other just over 6.

Nice, before the melt fishing is generally good but there is about a 2 week window that it slows because of run off.
The run off makes it much tougher for a couple weeks.
easter week was before the big heat and melt.

A few different methods none much fun. Lots of guys pushing plus long levers, log rollers, come along or chainsaw winch, or water parachute

I would say come along or winch. By the looks of it he has to go backwards. I haven't done this with my boat yet lol.

Curious...... what next????? that's a lot of weight beached.....

I always carry 100-150' good rope with me. We spun the front end around put bunch of logs spaced out couple feet from each other then hooked up to my buddy's boat and pulled me back into the water. Tephlon is great for slidding
