Fun, family friendly ride up to attempt the peak of Canoe Mountain at over 8000'. Last years ride was a blast and enjoyed by all.

Hot dog roast, mid way back. Fun for all levels and ages.

The ride is by donation to further Atv works in the Valemount Area

Please have a look for info in the links below.

If you plan on attending, it would be great if you could let us know, so we can better prepare for lunch.

Hope to see you there !:d

Read the Spring 2011 Document. Plus/Minus 55 kms with a weenee roast on the way back. You will be able to tell every-one that you made it to the top of the World. It is a good ride.

Thanks Ranger. I saw that, but was wondering how much time they actually take to do the 55K round trip. ...I was thinking of taking a friend up and was just wondering how much extra time there would be afterwards to explore a little.

When I made this trip in 2005/07/11, there was still some snow at the top. Go to the Valemount Area Recreation Development Association site, look for, Quad-Biking, Click on the picture of the Quad. There are some Garmin Trails that Curtis has Posted.

sorry guys, i was gone for a few days.

absolutely this event is suitable for bikes, everyone is welcome. Just get this darn snow to melt a bit quicker:confused:

The ride will take about 4-5 hours with lunch included. We stage from the kinbasket lake area and there is tonnes of area to explore, plus you can grill me on local info during the day. I will help all i can:beer:

Planning to head up with 3 adults, 2 kids, and a little dog. Is there an ATV friendly camp ground in close proximity to the staging area that you can recommend?

...would be nice to ride right from the camp ground to the staging area.
