This guy can't even ride his peddle bike there.

Not sure who he is or what he's selling but yes you can still pedal a mountain bike in there. You can also Horseback ride, wind surf, Drive a train, mining cart, motor boat, or Drive a logging truck on Forest Service Roads. Given the definition of a Snowmobile as a vehicle with at least 1 ski I believe you could even drive a snow cat and be in compliance with the closure.

The only things you can't operate are Snowmobiles, Snow Bikes, ATVs, UTVs, and Motorcycles.

Yes as long as you're on a forest service roads.

The area is closed from March 1 to November 30. So it's still game on going forward for December through February until they slide another closure in there without stakeholder consultation. Seems the BC government gets closer to agenda driven Communism every day.

And worse yet it is foreign interest groups dictating this.

Oh I see, It just seems strange that the area is open for sledders and closed the rest of the year. Was the area getting beat by ATV misuse??? Ive never been there, heard it was a good riding area.

ATV guys mainly road the logging roads.
Alpine (1700m+) was already closed.

I would say the logging was a bigger impact...........

Take some time and read the y2y initiative.

I browsed that Y2Y website awhile ago, lots of whining about the caribou herds and such. That group is no different to me than pipeline protesters. They are paid and well funded, organized and will probably win their battle.

You are correct. Deep pockets but they have been quietly moving north.

It closes March 1st, we ride in there until June normally.

And when it is one of your favorite spots, it's kinda a big ****ing deal...

Any idea what kind of a ticket this will be?
Or if this closure has any teeth.

Hey guys. I don’t sled this area. But if there is survey or any kind of major meeting please make it known on here. There are lots of guys from up around me that come down and sled, fish, boat and camp around there. I have no problem loading up and coming down there to enjoy public lands. Especially if it means proving a point to those trying to take away what’s our land.
