..more specifically, Quartz Creek. The newly buried surface hoar layer is about 30-60cm down from the surface and the snow above it is now bonded into a nice slab. here are a couple pics of the layer in the snowpack and a remote triggered release from a ridge. There are also small naturals all over the place below tree line and many size 1 sledder and skier triggered slides.
Not big enough to kill a person on it's own, but could easily push someone over a cliff or into some trees. And that snow could amount to a burial if there was a gully below.
