AST Level 1 – CLASSROOM EXERCISES
Meeting Time – Tue & Wed, October 27-28, 2009
5:00pm – Doors open, refreshments courtesy of Cycleworks
6:00pm – 10:30pm – Class

The AST Level 1 is considered the minimum level of training that all backcountry riders should have. The AST 1 is an excellent introduction to “how not to get caught”...avalanche terrain recognition skills, snowpack theory, rescue skills and overall risk management
