Wr took the the class room sesions Fri night and Sat night after your saturday out class, then took the out door class on Saunday....

Lori and Randy are the best...hard working and very knowledgable couple....

ZacsTracs Avy course is for anyone who wants to spend time in the mountains....

We stayed over to ride Allen Creek .... but it was pouring rain at the bottom and wet heavy snow at the cabin....everthing we learnt told us to go home....

Others were going up and we wanted to......but drove to Whitecourt instead...typing this from the hotel.....

Even on Sat when we were on lucile...we saw guys pulling on slopes that didnt have tracks on them for a reason...when we tried to talk to them they were great until we tried to convice them not to ride on thse slopes...wind loaded obvious signs of past avalanches....so we mentioned they should look into a avy course and thats when they left....

Great time, great course, lots of information....we agree....take the course stay on the sunny side of the snow....

I would recommend this course to any one who rides in the mountains. The field training/hands on is great, learned alot. As we all think we know how this is done and we know how to work our beacons, well once you get in the course you will be glad you took it. Theres alot more than listening to the beeps or watching the arrows. And I do feel alot more confident if there was an avalanche and people are trapped, I could save a life or more. Also we know more what we should and should not be riding on and how to read and interpret the Avalance Reports.

Great course Lori and Randy! You guys are awsome teachers and you make a difference.:d

Also in regards to my sled, I had it apart the other day, just before this course and I mixed 2 connectors up, Oops!:( Working fine now! Thanks Tannis for letting me ride the sled.

Thanks for the pics! I didn't even pull the camera out. We sure got alot out of the course and we (Hanna and I) feel alot more comfortable with the beacons and reading the snow. Glad your sled was an easy fix. Hi to Tannis!
