Fernie Winter 20/21 Avy Education Course Schedule

Hi All,

Thanks for the support over the past several years! We are looking forward to another great season with a few adjustments to our program delivery this winter:

• AST 1 Classroom sessions will be conducted online via Zoom with two options: Dec 2&3rd 6-9:30pm OR Dec 12th full day.
• AST 1 Field Day sessions will still be conducted outside with social distancing: choose Dec 12th or Dec 29th.
• AST2 We are limiting class size to 6 this year to accommodate social distancing: Feb 13-16th.
• Custom courses / dates are also available for groups of 5 or more.

We are also offering two riding clinics with coaches Stephanie Schwartz and Dave Norona as well as our first ever snowbike clinic with details TBA as soon as the XGames / CRSA event dates are finalized.

Don't forget that Avalanche Canada has a great online course finder tool (here) to help find a program near you. There are tons of great providers out there ready to help get you the training required to safety travel in the mountains. Don't let another year go by without upgrading your skills.
