The Pirate Team is good at what we do. We take pride in our programs and services and are extremely excited for another season coming just around the corner. We love sharing our knowledge of the backcountry and we want to help you become a better partner to have on the mountain.

You owe it to yourself, your family and your riding group to become more informed, more thoughtful and more skilled.

Whether you are new to the mountain sledding game and just looking for your Ast1, Avalanche Mentorship days, or you want to further hone your skills and knowledge by stepping up to an AST2, we have you covered.

We strongly believe in training with your riding group and specialize in small sized private classes although we can accommodate anyone with any needs.

And don’t forget, we also have a team of amazing guides to provide you with one of the best days you have ever had on a sled. From beginner lessons to advanced days, we have an option for you.

This heat has got us going crazy and we are FREEZING our prices from last season. This means that you can get into an AST1 for as low as $300.00 per person through our Early Bird booking special. Book and securing your space before November 1 to receive the special pricing.

For full information on all of our services, please visit www.frozenpirate.com and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions at info@frozenpirate.com.

You owe it to yourself to come and ride with the Pirates. Make this season one to remember.

Ride safe and please share this info with your friends!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the questions. We operate a little differently around here and do not set dates until they are requested. Not sure if you guys ride together, but if so, pick a time that work for you both and get into contact with us. We will work with you and fill the remaining spots.

AST2s are better off a bit later in the season. Mid January at the earliest. We want to be able to access good terrain if the weather allows and we need a good snowpack for travel.

Hope this helps

The time is now

We wanna plan our winter early in order to train and meet as many of you as possible.....buuuuut also to ride as much as we can to build our own skill sets.

Don't forget to register for your open or private course between now and Oct 15 and you will receive the early bird rate of $300.00 plus GST for your complete AST1 course.

"Open" courses are for individuals looking to join another group as they may not have enough people for a private group. Have just a couple people? No problem, contact us with your preferred date and we will do what we can to build a course around your schedule.

"Private" courses are just as they sound. Groups of six or more can secure their own private course where no others will join. We strongly believe in the idea of training with your regular riding group and this is a great opportunity.

Courses typically consist of two short and casual evening sessions followed by a full day in the field. This way you can get to the mountains, get trained and ride a day on your own all in one weekend just a few days.

Looking for more? We offer AST2s as well, should you want to bring your skill sets up to what we hope to one day be the norm on the mountain.

Remember we also have a team of amazing professional guides to help make your trip to the mountains, the best one yet.

If you are looking for something different, we can customize anything to meet your individual or group needs and desires including; guided trips, riding clinics, companion rescue courses, mentorship days, group retreats etc.

I bet your sled is ready to hit the snow, but are you? Have you invested in yourself? Early bird pricing is only in effect for another week. Our Ast1 and 2's are one of your most affordable options out there and our schedule allows you to still get a ride in while you are here. Contact us to see how we can accommodate your schedule. Private and open bookings are still available. And if you are looking for that ultimate day on the mountain ask about our guide services.

Hey Curtis do you have any open AST 2 dates?

Sorry for the delay. With no snow on the ground I am still out biking more than on the computer. Are you solo or have a couple with you? I would be game to try to set up an open ast2 in feb or march. We like to cover some good ground on the 2's and seasoned snowpack is key to this. We do have one opening in a course but its a bit of a weird time Jan 30-Feb2. If this works rad, if not please shoot me an email and we can see if we can make it work for you.
