Hey All,

Hope all is well! Just have a question and wondering if anyone can help.

I was wondering what opinions are on all those dunebuggies you see around, never on trails though. Anyone have opinions on them? Are they worth the little bit they want? I know you get what you pay for but a Polaris is out of price range right now with a new baby coming. I've heard that all of them from the 250's and up have oil leaking problems and that the 150's were the only decent ones but then again, too small. Just wondering if there are any actual owners ont his site that would give their 2 cents worth and let me know if they'd buy another or just dump it because of to many problems? Thanks and have a great day!

only thing on the dunebuggies, is the lack of ground clearance, as well the cheaper ones need to be really checked over , cause its usually when you
are farthest from home that they act up... like wiring rubbing through, bolts coming loose etc.... like anything there fun. you just have to be patient as
they are cheaper for a reason. but anything that gets you out side is good!!!!!

hi,This is Bob from China and have many years experience on Chinese buggies.

There are indeed some quality buggies at very competitive price.

Some dune buggies distributors has been growing very fast on this business.

I have been on some trail rides with two wheel drive buggys. Spent all day pulling out, dragging around and drying belts. Hung up frequently.
These units are fine for the children to run around on the farm, or maybe on dry, flat ground, but certainly NOT for our back country.
Get a real machine and save yourself the headaches and disappointment of a substandard machine.
You get what you pay for, as usual.[/I]

Have to agree here .......... get a real machine for years of enjoyment. Nothing more fun than wrenching on the trail all the time. :nono:

Hi, I was in the same boat, what to by, SxS or another quad. I could not afford the 12k that a decent SxS costs. I bought a Joyner Trooper T2 for 6200. Broke down the first two times I took it out but Trevor at Mudslinger Motorsports helped me out real quick. Trevor took me through the unit and explained the Joyners are a wonderful machine a person needs to go through it with a fine-toothed comb tightening and checking everything.

My first breakdown was front axles, we still do not know why they went, most likely from bumping over the iron-horse cattle guards and hitting the tire hard twice
Second breakdown was front steering fell out, it was not installed properly. Trevor fixed it quickly and updated it with a custom part he makes, explaining that if I had purchased from him all the qc stuff would have been done.

I was worried about the length and width of the Joyner but when I compare, it is only a few inches longer than the prowler and 4 inches wider, no biggie. Funny how alot of the RZR owners want to widen them to 60' anyway.

I figure I can drive it for the season and make up my mind, then sell it if I am not into SxSs.

I sell a 600cc and an 1100cc and they have 12 to 14" of ground clearance. If you are interested in more info let me know. they run 10 to 12K.
